Three months ago, we reported that Wizkid is one of the many talented artists set to perform at Coachella this year, alongside the likes of Beyoncé, the Weeknd, SZA, Eminem, Post Malone, Cardi B, Jidenna, Daniel Caesar and many more.
For the people who won’t be able to make it to California for the festival, we have some great news: Coachella will, once again, be live streaming sets from its first weekend (April 13 – April 15).
With his performance already scheduled to stream on the festival’s YouTube channel, Wizkid joins faves like Beyoncé, St. Vincent, Tyler, the Creator, the Weeknd, Migos, Kamasi Washington and HAIM as one of the artists with a confirmed streaming set.
While Coachella will also take place April 20 through to April 22 (its second weekend), only the first weekend will be streamed on YouTube. Wizkid is currently scheduled to kick off the April 14 YouTube stream with a 1:35 PM timeslot.
Speaking about his Coachella performance on Twitter, Wizkid said:
“We taking that African culture to Coachella this year by the way, and I’m bringing out everybody.”
