Nigeria forward, Asisat Oshoala, has won her second women’s league title with Chinese club Dalian Quanjian in the Women’s Premier League after they drew O-0 with Jiangsu on Saturday.
It was Dalian’s third consecutive league title but the second for Oshoala who joined last season from Arsenal ladies.
“Allah Promised and He delivered….Twice in a row #Alhamdulilah #DalianQuanjian ,” an excited Oshoala posted on Twitter.
The current CAF female player is expected to join up with the rest of her colleagues in the Super Falcons next week to resume preparations for the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations which gets underway on November 17.
Dalian finished the league with 32 points.
They needed a point from their last two games to be crowned champions.
